I'm sorry to begin a whole blog post with bad news, but...
Betsy died yesterday. She got a stroke and could not sit properly, her whole body lying on her left side. We were going to take her to the vet, and when I lifted her, she couldn't be still and floundered on the bottom of her carriage cage. She must have been in great pain. These are undoubtedly sad news, but the most important thing is that she now can rest in peace without suffering. We are going to miss her, but we know she lived a happy rabbit's life, full of green grass, my friendly family, her sister/friend and food and a warm shelter. I hope she has a great time with Chili, her sister/friend, who died about a year ago, in heaven.
Alright. Let's see what the weekend brought us!
The Imitation Game was fantastic! Heart-breaking and historical, I recommend it to anyone who like high-quality films and/or Benedict Cumberbatch. Afterwards I bought some Moomin soda (Muumilimu) on my way home, and it was so tasty I drank it almost immediately. Wonder why...
For Anna I got a Hurts CD, Exile, and I hope she will enjoy it when I get to school tomorrow (I had a dentist appointment today).
On Saturday through Sunday I was at my grandparents' where I ate ice cream and drank strong coffee, and on Sunday went to two art galleries with my grandpa and my youngest little brother. I found the art fascinating and beautiful, and bought a card for Anna and myself from Art Frida (where I also got a cute framed picture by Outi Heiskanen), and took a couple of information booklets from Gösta Serlachius & Paul Sinebrychoff Collections Face-to-Face art gallery. He, my brother, wasn't too fond of the opportunity to become a highly cultured person - "It's all just paintings, damn it!" if I may quote him. Oh, brother. ;)
Today I was browsing through Tumblr and found this - Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation) made a cover of Coldplay's A Sky Full of Stars! I love the original song, and when I heard it, I was almost moved to tears and cold shivers were running down my spine! It was amazing, Sharon is so wonderful!!
To cats! Yesterday we moved the bed from the Cat Studio to my brother's room, as it's my brother's bed now. The cat became so confused, they started meowing late at night when there was nothing comfy they could sleep on! Luckily, my mother found a Spiderman blanket and put it on the floor, and immediately they became quiet. Emi and Bimbo shared one end of the blanket, while Elsa, well, Elsa took the whole other end for herself. Typical. ☺
Have some pictures!
And yes, I will work on the Bimbo special at some point, but right now I have other things to do. Yesterday though, I finished a new icon for Daphnya Kobain! Although it sadly looks even creepier than the previous... here is a comparison of the new icon, and a woman from my mother's favourite music video Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden.
Have a great day!
See you!
