91. Where did the Christmas tree go?

Hello!

It's been quite a while from the last update! There's been school in the way, and already it feels like a whole month has passed since the
tart of school. Which is not true. I have kind of maybe lost track of time, which makes me feel super old. But school has been going well nevertheless, despite that there's a raging flu terrorising my mother, which will possibly be transferred to us kids... No worries! I'm back now, that's the important thing!

On the last week of the holidays I went for a new kind of beauty treatment, to celebrate the end of the holidays: eyebrow fixing! My super bushy brows were something I wanted to change, but I had been too afraid to reshape them myself. So Mum booked an appointment with our favourite cosmetician, and I got them done there! Mum had showed me pictures of Rosamund Pike, who's got these amazing natural brows that matched my brow shape. I think the beautician managed to transform my eyebrows from bushy caterpillars to beautiful, heaven-touching frames of the face. It was like my whole face had got a perky, cheerful lift! ☺

Look at her beautiful eyebrows!
Before (a few years ago) and after!

And to continue the delayed World of WarCats, I played with Elsarene, the blood elf warrior. She's a tough little lady, but a bit of a diva - just like Elsa! She left her home in the first refuge after the starting area, wandering onward to new adventures...

Elsarene had finished all her quests when she went off from her home at the Falconwing Square. Falconwing Square lay in the starting zone of the blood elves, known as the Eversong Woods. She had no idea where to go, so she started by wandering towards the capital city of the blood elves, Silvermoon City. To get there, she had to cross the deadly Dead Scar, infested with undead skeletons and other abominations. There were other blood elves there, too, rangers who wished to exterminate the undead from their home.

Elsarene is a brave little elf, who doesn't mind getting a little muddy, as long as it doesn't affect her glorious, well-kept wavy hair...

And BOOM! She reached level 12!

And with that comes a new ability!

Who's that? Her boyfriend? (don't tell Elsa I make these crappy jokes,
she'll bite my head off)
Elsarene finished the quest and continued her way to Silvermoon City:

*Mighty music plays*
After exploring the beautiful city a little bit, she went to a warrior trainer to get some training.

Since she didn't want to tire her legs and risk her hair to get messy, she used her Hearthstone, a stone which returns one to their home location. Which was kind of foolish, because she was back where she started...

So she spoke to the Flight Master in Falconwing Square...

...and flew to a new destination on her *fabulous* giant bird:

Elsarene reached a small shelter of elves called the Fairbreeze Village. It was a nice little village, with lots of vendors and friendly people. All of it was so pretty! But what really caught Elsarene's interest was the quest that the leader of the village, Landra Dawnstrider, offered:

And so Elsarene walked down south, towards the mysterious Ghostlands. Following the road she came across Courier Dawnstrider, Landra's nephew...

...and some other "guest".

Doing as the Forsaken undead (the friendly type of living dead) told her to do, she went to the Ghostlands to collect blood samples from the beasts there.

She returned just in time! And rose to level 14 upon completing the task!

And the courier had something to say to her, too:

Elsarene headed down the road south, back to the Ghostlands she wished to explore - but that'll be something for another adventure. She found Tranquillien, and she found the arcanist, and now she could rest and do her hair and all that. All great for her. ☺

During my absence, Death has been busy. We've lost many great legends during the last week, all of which are losses much devastating. Lemmy Kilmister, David Bowie, and Alan Rickman are the ones that I grieve the most. Here are a few tribute picture of them, not done by me, but which I thought were wonderful to have here. May they all rest in peace.

footnote: I've always wanted to see Labyrinth *hides*
You might have seen the picture I posted of Ella and Emi, where I stated they're more friends than before. It has increased! I caught Emi and Ella on the same sofa, sleeping happily, occasionally looking at each other before closing their eyes for one nap more. You might remember how Emi was scared of the little harmless pup, but as you can see on the pictures here, they've at the very least accepted each other now! ☺

Yesterday we finally, finally, went ahead and threw out the Christmas tree and put away all the Christmas decorations. It should've been done last week, but hey, my family is peculiar so it's no surprise. And so are the animals in the house - including the cats, tiny, cute personalities of their own!

Emi came to my mother and I in the sauna, clearly protesting what my father and brothers did while we relaxed in the heat. She meowed her longest, whiniest meows, just so we could know her grand disapproval! All the animals were wondering what the humans were doing, and just observed our doings. Elsa ate on the Christmas plant my mother had in the living room, and Ella and Bimbo were friend-ing around the dining table. Such cute scenes, and all great reasons to photograph! ☺

And so they all were hungry all of a sudden, and ate their dinner with pleasure! Bimbo has been quite the picky sort lately, not wanting anything with Emi's drool on it... maybe he's learning something from Elsa? Hopefully not, haha!

We also watched Puss in Boots yesterday, and Elsa decided to join us. Perhaps she was jealous of the cats' looks or the kitty cat eyes the Puss did? Who knows! ☺

"Whatcha starin'?"
I've discovered a great artist just some time ago, a woman named Beth Crowley. She sings about books and their characters, all ranging from John Green's to Veronica Roth's works. She sure is worth checking out, she has a beautiful voice, and her song Gone (which is about The Hunger Games) is one of my new favourite songs!

Now it's time for me to take some coffee and try out the new WoW-Vanilla private server, called VanillaGaming. Since Feenix's Vanilla WoW has now been upgraded to early-Burning Crusade, the first expansion to the vanilla World of Warcraft, I try to find ways to keep the "Kobain-legacy" going. VanillaGaming has an in-game command that allows you to determine the experience rate of leveling from 1x to 15x. It's super cool! I've been dying to do a post about all the Kobains (gosh how it sounds like the other K-s that I cannot stand), but that will be possible only when I've reached a max level with her on all private servers. It will take a while, but I'm super excited!

Right! It was nice writing once again!
See you!

134. One last change...

Hey everybody! Before you ask: I know. I am just as surprised as you are, that I returned to my ex - Google Blogger. While I would never ...
