80. Celebrate - Symphonicats is back!

Hello, all my friends and followers!

Yes, it's official now: Symphonicats has returned!

It's been one darn long break - I never intended it to last for so long! I apologise for that! But I do have a few reasons why I didn't return earlier:

School has started, and I am now in one of the biggest upper secondary schools there is here in Finland! The first period was a tough one, (but I made it through!) and the current one is a bit easier than that, only for the third period to be a real pain again. Overall school's going better than ever!
Another reason for my extended absence is that I keep forgetting about this blog, mainly because school has taken so much of my free time. I have been switching between The Sims 3 and World of Warcraft (of which I will tell you about later) when playing computer games, but less than usual, really because of school and such. The last reason is that I lost my Olympus digital camera, and after months of searching, I think I'll just accept that it's gone for a while now, and try to take pictures with my phone instead. Luckily, when my Mum went to China earlier this autumn, she bought a small SLR camera, and I have been snapping a couple of moments of the beautiful lives lead by Elsa, Bimbo and Emi! And I am most impressed with the quality, and super excited to go outside and photograph every lovely thing some day properly!

But let's not dwell in excuses, shall we? Because the blogger is back now, and ready to go! I am very excited to begin actively photograph again, and you will see all the results from the journey called life, through the lens!

So I have been playing The Sims 3, where I have made mainly made stories with happy endings, sent sims to university for the first time, and travelled a whole lot in Egypt and France (I've been to Al Simhara and Champs Les Sims - the real world countries? Oh I wish!). I am planning to someday make human Elsa, Bimbo and Emi, but that will have to wait as a bigger project as I don't always have the motivation or time needed. But when that happens, you will all be informed, and so will the adventures of my feline best friends begin in the world of The Sims 3!

Cuddles ☺

I've also been playing World of Warcraft, though not much the private servers anymore - I've begun playing the starter edition, the one and only official World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor! Although the leveling and money making is much slower than what I am used to, is the gaming experience better than I remembered! I begun playing World of Warcraft back in 2012, when I was on the last year of primary school. The version back then was the later times of Cataclysm, and so that expansion has always had a place in my heart. So returning to the full up-to-date world of Azeroth was, how could I say it, much greater of an impression than expected - like, a whole lot! But if you're wondering if the World of WarCats is going to continue: yes, when I have the time to play, I will continue the adventures of Elsarene, Beembo and Emilus, all seen as little rookies in the video at the top!
And Kobain, well, she's trying to adjust her life as a beginner in WoD, though with the name Jíllìan - I like to call her the "Tower-Jan" because the íllì- form a little house symbol - or is that just the crazy me? ;) I have also been trying to get a guild in Wrath of the Lich King to take her through dungeons, though without any success. But, I will never give up - if a stupid night elf could do it, then so can I!

Alright, back to where I didn't go rambling about games most of you don't understand or care about. Let's hear the news from the kitty side!

Elsa has been a little Queen (still with a capital Q) as always. Or The Diva, or the Regal Purr-incess, or the Royal Calico, or whatever titles she prefers to hear. She has accepted little Emi to the house now - well, except that she gives Emi a teeny-tiny bit of a whacking when she enters Her room. Guess whose room she has taken as her own? Mine! But I don't mind, it's always a pleasure to have little Elsa sleep on my feet ☺ and I believe she appreciates that her cuddly toy doesn't carry her out of the room when she needs her beauty sleep the most!

Bimbo has been like a father to Emi, like usual. He cleans her, cuddles her and sleeps with her, always. But there is one thing that truly makes his reputation as not the smartest cat in the world, and that's this: Now that the warmer season has ended, the birds on the front porch have moved far south, and the small vestibule is now colder than ever. Little Bimbo goes to watch some birds in that vestibule, not minding when the door is closed (the vestibule is the coldest part of the house, that's why we keep the door closed as much as possible) or the calls made from us humans to get him out of there. When it get's too cold, he is trapped! Poor little one scratches the windows of the door to try to get back to the warmth, and usually that happens very quickly, as we all feel sorry for him and his small cat brain and wait in the living room for him to try to come back inside. He never learns, but it's not his fault, we love him nevertheless. ☺

Emi has been the little kitten by heart, playing with toys and her friend Bimbo. But she doesn't look like a little kitten any longer! She has become a fine young lady, with a bit over one year of age. She has got some meat on her bones, and her fur is soft and wonderful. She is still the smallest cat, our little baby, and almost as beautiful as Queen Elsa. You could call her the real little purr-incess, just not when Elsa is near. ☺

And if you have read Anna's blog Rakkaudesta Eläimiin, you will see that she's got a new addition to her family - a tiny, grey tabby coloured kitten called Heppu! I have been over to her's a couple of times, and will make a bigger post of little Heppuli later! Gosh, he is so adorable!

Tomorrow it's Halloween, and me and my cousin are going with our grandpa to an art exhibition. Today I bought a lot of sweets both for my family and for myself, and am going to enjoy them tomorrow as well. It's going to be a great day!

And before I go to watch Hercule Poirot with my family, I will say this: now that I don't really have all the time in the world, I will probably postpone some post topics, because I don't think I'll be able to write a blog post the same ways as before (that being said. the way where I'd make an entry the same day). I am super sorry for that, but I hope it won't cause any confusion. Keep your fingers crossed for varied posts to come, I'll try to accomplish that as well as I can!

Alright, off I go. It was super nice writing again after such a long, long time. Hope to see you soon!!

Bye!

79. I'm alive!?

Hello!

Long time no see! How have you all been? Would love to hear what you've been up to, both lately and, well, earlier this autumn. My summer was great, and school has started super well, better than expected! I've met new friends, and new cameras - one that has found its home here where I live! I'm so happy for everything to fall right into place!

Mostly the reason why I haven't updated earlier is that my Olympus digital camera got missing. That bugger hasn't showed up since the end of summer, haha. It's a real shame, I had pictures of everything between Tikkurila Festivaali and Emi's visit at the vet. Yes, our little girl is now neutered and just a tiny bit calmer than before - actually so little, you can't really tell the difference all of the time!

My Dad promised to get me Adobe's Creative Cloud, which I think includes a video editing program, that I'm going to use when making my absolute return to Symphonicats. Because this post was just a sign of me still thinking about the blog, you can expect much more to come!

Hope you have an amazing continuation on your day! Love you all! ☺

134. One last change...

Hey everybody! Before you ask: I know. I am just as surprised as you are, that I returned to my ex - Google Blogger. While I would never ...
