74. Money can't buy Elsa's special spot

Hi all!

Hope you all are enjoying the summer! Although it has been rain and sunshine on and off, I have had an amazing week!

On Monday we got back from my father's parents' summer cottage; we got there on Saturday and came back, as said, two days later. I managed to take some wonderful pictures of the setting sun, on Saturday and Sunday. I used a different setting in my camera to capture the beautiful view as well as I could. You are free to tell me in the comments what you think! ☺

On Tuesday we went shopping to the shopping center Jumbo - me, my Dad, and my two youngest brothers. I got to go my own way, so I didn't need to follow the rest of the group into Dressman and grocery stores and such, haha! I was looking for The Sims 3 world packs, but sadly all the electronic and game stores have updated their stocks into The Sims 4. So instead of wasting my money on games (Wow, did I actually say that?) I bought a striped tricot dress and a top in black and white. The dress is super comfy and the top so pretty! Here are some pics of them both!

I feel like such a hipster teen when taking pics like this...
Not a real fan of selfies and such...

I also made a video of the bonfire we watched burn on Friday last week. I was listening to the song The Heart of Everything by Within Temptation while watching the fire, and thought that the ominous song would make the rampaging fire even more dramatic. I hope you enjoy it!

On Thursday morning my mother and I were awoken by a little kitty playing foosball - little Emi had found that the foosball ball was a nice toy, although very loud and noisy. Just like what she is, loud and noisy, haha! I couldn't resist to take a video of it - or at least I tried to, as that little Bristlebane (guess who has begun calling everyone who does their mischief to Bristlebane? Hehe! Reference found here) hid herself so well under the plastic leaf, and I dared not to move it in case I'd wake up the entire house. Try to get the most of it, okay? Okay. ☺

I also went into the center of Helsinki for the day because of personal business, but that didn't stop me from having a toffee fudge frappé from Robert's Coffee, and buying potato chips, biscuits, chocolate, chewing gum (with the taste of licorice, yum!) and some sweetened mineral water, labeled Novelle Plus and called "Sinkki-E Iholle, aprikoosi ja jasmiini" (= "Zinc-E For Skin, apricot and jasmine). I opened the bag of chips and ate some chocolate while drinking water and watching the horror movie Annabelle, only halfway through though because I got so tired. Funny thing, I always get physically weary of sugar and salt, don't know how common it is. So to everyone who want to have a sleepover with me: forget the sweets and chips and bring me my coffee! ☺

Today me and my mother were shopping (yet again) in Jumbo. Now that I've been so many times shopping already, I feel like I don't need to go again for a while, hehe! I had forgot all the makeup I took with me to the summer cottages at my father's parents' cottage, and now we were looking for new ones. I'm not an expert of makeup, so pardon me if I get some names wrong. The sales assistant was a very friendly and nice woman who introduced me to the world of makeup even more in depth than what I had expected.

This is what we bought:

From left to right: concealer, lipstick/-gloss, regular lipstick, rouge blusher, foundation, a sample of whatever it is, a makeup sponge, a makeup brush, mascara, and two eyeliners (black and white).

We also went through several clothing stores, but we bought all the clothes for me from H&M, my mother finding her wonderful dress from Stockmann. I also got a beautiful head wrap of fake white flowers, I absolutely love it!

If you follow what I pin on Pinterest, you might have noticed that a certain purr-incess/cat Queen was sleeping on my laptop's keyboard while I was in the kitchen. When I got back, the Elsa was being a real stubborn Diva and didn't want to move away from the warmth of the computer. She bit me badly and I got some wounds, but didn't move an inch. I got this *brilliant* idea to pour water on her, until I realised, fast enough, that it would ruin not only Elsa's wonderful, shiny, soft fur, but also my laptop computer as well. So I dipped my fingers in the water and begun petting Elsa, and she caught the message and jumped off. Phew!

"It's MY spot!"

But who can be mad at such a cutie like what she is? Nobody can, I just got to love her despite that she can be a little prick at times (please don't kill me for saying that!). She even complained with her high-pitched meow that she was hungry, and doesn't seem to hold (much) grudge on what I did. So glad she isn't mad at me. Loppu hyvin, kaikki hyvin, as we say in Finland. ☺

Bimbo is now super happy to get to sleep with my mother during the days, as Mum's vacation begun yesterday after work. He loves to take naps with her, and little Emi likes to join with her big brother, to sleep in his arms next to a warm, comfy human! And on those times Elsa is there also, I believe she thinks the same!

Our dog Eetu used to sleep like that!

Emi don't bite your nails!

What did I just say, silly?

The same photo underneath...

...though with another setting!

This looks actually like Elsa would be taking a selfie...

What a cutie! ☺

Next post will be the 75th post - only 25 to go for 100! I hope I will have enough inspiration and motivation to make it a special post, we shall see what surprises I will have in mind, sooner or later! I'm also open for requests and shout-outs, so if you want to give me ideas, feel free to comment or write to me to this email address: daphkobbie(at)gmail.com (remove the (at) with @).

Guess that's all for now! Have a great summer, all of you!

See you soon!

134. One last change...

Hey everybody! Before you ask: I know. I am just as surprised as you are, that I returned to my ex - Google Blogger. While I would never ...
