Summer is here, school's out, welcome my friend freedom!
I hope you are all having a marvelous day! I am, I just got home, my family and I were eating at Chico's in celebration for the summer holidays to be here! I'm so excited, now I can focus on other things than school! I can't wait to read a truckload of books, write stories, draw my notebooks full with drawings, go swimming in lakes, travel to my grandparents' summer cottages, staying late awake, do fun stuff with my friends and so much more! But the best of all is that I get to take a deep breath and rest, relax a good while before facing the next semester!
So yesterday we were on a cruise in the archipelago of Helsinki, and as I had believed, it was fun! We ate delicious food (the best being white chocolate ice cream), saw beautiful islands big and small, got a taste of fresh air and hung out with each other, teachers and students. I enjoyed it very much!

I'm going to work on videos this summer, too, some of them being the trip to Barcelona, and the Bimbo Special. Now I have all the time in the world to gather material for the special, because it's not that easy to get a good picture of Mr Tuxedo! Speaking of which, when I photographed the cats when my mother was about to take a nap, Bimbo got excited for the string of my camera and played with it so fiercely that he accidentally scratched me. But I wasn't mad - how can you possibly be mad at someone so cute? ☺
I though I'd make an update today, and because of our time at Chico's I haven't had much time to photograph. But here are the pics I got today nevertheless!

How have you all been? I've been fine, or as fine as you can when your guts hurt like heck and there is no little rabbit to greet you any more. It's been many weeks and it still feels strange coming home to see an empty cage.
But I guess I have managed through the worst periods of grief, and now can focus on getting my stomach ache to ease and preparing for my friend, summer, to come!
I've been waiting for summer to come for a long time, and in just a few days my summer vacation begins! Summer is a time for rest and relaxation, for freedom and space for development, and so much more. I also have my 16th birthday on the 10th day of July, yahoo! ☺
Must have been on the same day when Bella died, that I got a new CD, Korpiklaani's Noita. It was a tragic day, and I haven't really had the time to listen to the album yet, but when summer comes, I believe I do have all the time in the world to do that!
Tomorrow I'm probably going to the shopping mall in Itäkeskus with Anna, where we'll hunt for a summer dress for Friday, the last day of school. It's not just a regular last day of school, no: it's aboard a boat that sails around the Helsinki archipelago! It's going to be so fun! And I want to be sure to have the right kind of clothing, because the season for leather jackets is over, haha ;) So we'll see what we'll find with Anna, and I'll post a picture sooner or later!
And before I forget to tell you, my lovely readers...
Next week, from Thursday to Saturday, I'll be in Sweden, with my family and Anna! We're going by boat to Stockholm on Thursday evening, sleep aboard, spend a day in the city, and then come back the same evening to stay the night aboard the boat, and we'll be back on Saturday, as said. I can't wait for it, it's going to be amazing, an unforgettable trip for me, my family, and Anna too! I believe Anna is as excited as what I am! ☺
Elsa, Bimbo and Emi all are wondering where the yellow, long-eared, silly-looking "cat" has gone. Other than that, they have all been doing fine, Emi cuddling up with Bimbo every day on the sofa, and Elsa sleeping graciously on my bed. I've noticed that Bimbo likes people best when they've stepped out of the shower - he goes completely crazy when you pet him, fresh from the water! It's super cute!

I downloaded EverQuest on my laptop yesterday, and hope to play more of it today, as yesterday was quite a busy day. I hope to also get Diablo II, The Elder Scrolls, and Civilization IV down to my computer, so I have something to play when summer comes!
